I have always found the “80/20” rule to be a source of encouragement, you know the rule:

  • 80% of your profits come from 20% of your customers
  • 80% of your complaints from 20% of your customers
  • 80% of your sales comes from 20% of your customers
  • 80% of your results from 20% of your efforts

If you are wondering who discovered the 80/20 rule it was a 1906 economist by the name of Vilfredo Pareto. Somehow we just know in our gut this rule is true at least 80% of the time.

You want your company to be more productive, right? What business leader would say no to that question, of course you do. The question is “What can I do today to help my business be more productive?”

TRY THIS:

  • Stop thinking about the million things you must get done today (or the 10)
  • Pick 2 that you know when accomplished will give you the best return on your investment of time

Do those 2 things and you just might increase today’s Profits by 80%…
