A top agent shared an internal report that showed 30% of all customers who switch insurance do so because of a negative claim experience. According to a survey by Accenture (www.insurancejournal.com/news/national/2015/01/11/353721.htm)
of over 1,100 insurance agents “agents place a higher priority on keeping and service existing customers than on finding new business.” The truth is top agents know they cannot separate sales from customer service, not and be a leader who wants to retain his or her customers.
So, the next time you hear something like this from an agent or their staff try using the same response from Misconception #1, because at least 7 out of 10 are giving you a smoke screen.
